Zip it Up! The Ins and Outs of Small Pouches

We are going to make two kinds of stylish “quilted” zipper pouches, with attention to design detail. You will learn how to add zippers, box corners, place an outer pocket, and add straps. The result will be one simple zipper pouch and one cellphone-sized, cross-body zipper pouch with a strap. In the process, you’ll learn or enhance your sewing skills by using cutting mats and rotary cutters (provided). This class is intended for all skill levels. Bring your own machine if you like. Beginning sewists are welcome if they are willing to move at a slower pace.
