About the Course
As an EKG Technician you will learn the following:
How to operate and monitor electrocardiogram equipment for patients during diagnostic testing and surgical procedures.
Report findings to physicians who make diagnostic decisions based on the results.
EKG technicians are also responsible for the maintenance of equipment and preparing patients for various cardiovascular tests.
The program includes 52 hours of online training through live, instructor-led lectures and self-paced training modules. Students will be prepared to take the Electrocardiogram Technician Certification (ETC) exam through the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA).Â
Program Fee: $1,995 (includes national exam and certificate, students will need access to high-speed internet and computer to take this course.) Textbooks sold separately. No-interest payment plans available, everyone qualifies.
