About the Course

This class is designed to work on back health including strengthening of core, hips and shoulders, glutes and hamstrings. This class is great for general strength as well as rehab from various injuries. Non-weight bearing, this class is on the floor the whole time using props provided. Techniques are drawn from dance, Pilates, Yoga and physical therapy.

Corl-Seidel, Jacqueline

Jacqueline Corl-Seidel began her teaching journey at 16 and launched her professional dance career at 18. She has always been fascinated by the physics of movement—how every part of the body supports and influences every other part. From sports and dance to yoga and even simply sitting in a chair, all movement is built on the foundation of good body mechanics. Strengthening the core and balancing the body keeps us upright, while honing reflexes helps us maintain and recover that stance. Ultimately, the safest approach is not to fall—but the next best skill is knowing how to fall safely.
