About the Course
This hands-on tea course is designed for adults interested in developing practical skills in tea selection, tasting, brewing, and quality evaluation. Guided tea tasting is included in every class and is directly connected to the lesson content to build confidence and sensory awareness. Students will learn how to evaluate tea quality, understand tea origins and purchasing decisions, and apply tea knowledge for personal wellness or career exploration. Instruction emphasizes clear, practical, and easy-to-understand methods used by tea professionals. Students who complete all core courses and pass the final exam will receive a Certificate of Completion and become eligible to apply for international tea expert certification through the Tea and Beverage Research Station (TBRS).
