About the Course
Beginning students learn to construct basic quilt blocks alongside continuing students constructing Pinwheel blocks and Friendship Star blocks. Students use rotary cutters and self-healing mats while brushing up on machine sewing skills as needed. We play with colors and fabrics and use block types to design and create quilt tops for placemats, table runners, wall hangings, or pillow covers and can add sashing around blocks and/or borders to their tops. Basic/beginning machine sewing skills helpful but not required. All materials are provided.
