About the Course
This course will train you how to understand, troubleshoot and repair electrical control systems.
Students will learn how to:
Read, design, and test electrical schematics and ladder diagrams.
Understand motor control, relay logic, circuit protection, transformers, generators, power distribution, building automation networks (BACNET) and basic PLC (Programmable logic controllers)
Read symbols related to control drawings.
This is a hands-on training class. Students will be working with AC and DC power sources (single Phase and three phase). Electrical testing meters and tools are provided by the school.
*Safety will be discussed at our first meeting.
