About the Course
In this course, you will learn important knowledge and gain hands-on experience in the field of photovoltaic (solar) systems. You will learn the concepts behind what makes solar systems work and why they’re important, and also learn the industry skills of selling, designing, and installing solar panels. Whether you are a DIY homeowner or someone looking to break into the industry, this is the class for you. The instructor is a licensed solar contractor who will answer any and all questions you have.

Refund Policy: All requests for refunds must be in writing (email accepted). Class fees will NOT be refunded for any reason if the written request is less than two (2) business days BEFORE the start of class. Refund requests incur a $25 service charge per class. If a class is canceled by WCCAE for any reason, a full refund will be automatically made. Refunds are not provided for textbooks, materials, and/or manuals associated with the class.

"Billy Zeier, an East Bay native, grew up in Richmond and attended Albany High School before transferring from Laney Junior College to the University of California, Davis. With degrees in Communication and Sociology, Billy dedicated over a decade to serving his community as the Executive Director of the Boys and Girls Club of El Sobrante.
Driven by a commitment to giving back and a passion for the environment, Billy founded Clean Point Energy, a solar energy design and installation company. With more than ten years of experience, Billy has designed and installed solar systems for residential and commercial properties across California, from ADUs and family homes to churches and apartment complexes.
