Basic Mending and Minor Alterations

This basic sewing class is for former students or those with basic skills. Learn to repair and alter garments, including hemming, mending tears, adding pockets or darts, and refreshing elastic. Bring 1–2 small projects, your sewing kit, and thread. Machines and supplies are provided. Three 2-hour 45-minute classes; limited to 8 participants.

Drawing Head & Hands - Part I
"Drawing the Head and Hands" is a course dedicated to helping artists improve their drawing skills by taking a close look at the structure of the head, the key planes of the face, and how to place the facial features.
This course will also take a close look at the hand, its anatomy, and how to make an optically believable representation of it in a drawing.
This course will help any artist (beginner to advanced) improve their observation and drawing skills

Guitar Foundations for Beginners

Metal Art

Learn the craft of creating art with different types of metals. You will learn how to use several welding skills such as Mig, Tig, Oxy/ Acetylene, Plasma and stick. Students will use various metal forming techniques to make different shapes. Create metal sculptures, patio furniture, wall decor, lamps, picture frames, animal art, jewelry, abstracts, special gifts and much more. Safety and tools used will be discussed at our first meeting. Come join our world of metal artists.
Scrappy Quilt

If you have basic machine sewing skills, you can quilt! Explore three scrappy quilt methods to create small quilts from start to finish using straight machine stitching. Learn to use cutting mats, rotary cutters, and an even-feed foot while discovering the history and social significance of quilts. Open to all skill levels—beginners welcome to work at a slower pace.
